Challenge
In search of 4 real LGBTQ2+ couples with a deep shared history and love story, we were given one month to find people in relationships that were eager and willing to be married on short notice at Toronto’s annual Pride Festival. The criteria to be eligible for the shotgun style mini ceremonies included being in an established and authentically LGBTQ2+ relationship, representing a diverse group of individuals across ethnicity, orientation, gender and of course, wanting to marry for love and lifeship, not money or fame. This beautiful and rare opportunity to watch even more love come alive at Pride Toronto’s pop-up wedding venue by Skittles was officiated by Drag Queen Superstar Shangela.
